BYK 7410 ET

BYK 7410 ET is a liquid rheology additive that can be used for medium-polarity solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems as well as PVC plastisols and ambient-curing resin systems in the Advanced Materials industry. BYK 7410 ET creates highly thixotropic flow behavior and consequently improves the anti-sagging and anti-settling properties of coatings and resins without impacting leveling. This rheology additive generates a three-dimensional network structure after being incorporated into the coating or resin system. The resulting thixotropic flow behavior prevents sedimentation of fillers and pigments, improves the control of coating thickness and helps release entrapped air from the system. BYK 7410 ET is suitable for adjusting viscosity as a post-additive and improves various processing properties like shorter gelling time of plastisols or faster air release without negatively impacting the mechanical or optical properties of the final Advanced Material.
