BYK-085

BYK 085 is a solvent-free, silicone-containing leveling additive that provides good defoaming properties. BYK 085 prevents foam and bubble formation during production and processing. It allows re-coating without causing rewetting difficulties or defects in intercoat adhesion. BYK 085 is especially useful where a solvent-free additive is required or intermediate products need specific solvents. BYK 085 improves leveling, eliminates air entrapment and provides a smooth appearance in finished products. Its non-polar to highly polar compatibility makes it suitable for a wide range of formulations.
