HELIOPTIS DBA

Helioptis DBA is an emollient especially suitable for use in cosmetic sunscreen formulations as a solvent for UV filters. The relative high polarity of this product can be a conscious choice to optimise UVA sunscreen performance. Helioptis DBA has good UV filter solubilising capacities (e.g. with crystalline UV filters), and shows a good spreading. Within a range of well-known UV filter solvents, dibutyl adipate shows a good performance on efficacy. Helioptis DBA is halal certified.
