RHEOBYK-D 420

RHEOBYK D 420 is a liquid rheology additive that generates thixotropic flow behavior in aqueous systems. It forms a 3D network structure to prevent sedimentation and syneresis while increasing anti-sagging properties without impairing leveling. RHEOBYK D 420 is easy to handle as it is liquid and does not require pH or temperature adjustments during incorporation. It is recommended for use in aqueous pigment, filler and matting agent concentrates to control thixotropic flow behavior and optimize anti-sagging properties and leveling. The excellent shear thinning effect is advantageous for dosing concentrates due to their low viscosity. Products containing RHEOBYK D 420 exhibit improved adhesion to vertical surfaces, extending exposure time and enhancing cleaning action.
