DEOLINK TESPT

DEOLINK TESPT is a silane coupling agent that contains 50% TESPT (bis(3-triethoxysilylpropyl)tetrasulfane). DEOLINK TESPT is used as an activator and bonding agent for fillers in polymer composites and formulations. It contains TESPT which links the polymer matrix to the filler surface like silica through chemical bonding. This improves the physical properties of the composite material by enhancing tensile strength, modulus and abrasion resistance. DEOLINK TESPT is commonly dosed at around 10% by weight of the filler and is mixed along with the filler into the polymer matrix. When incorporated in this way, it provides maximum protection from moisture and optimizes the chemical bonding between filler and matrix. This leads to composites with enhanced mechanical properties ideal for applications in the advanced materials industry.
