DISPERBYK-2155 TF deflocculates pigments and stabilizes them via steric hindrance, preventing coflocculation and ensuring flood- and float-free color in pigment blends. This results in increased gloss, color strength, transparency, or hiding power, along with reduced mill base viscosity. It is particularly suited for high-solid coating systems and floor coatings due to its high solids content. The additive is compatible with various coating binders, including alkyd resins, cellulose nitrate, polyols, chlorinated rubber, epoxides, and polyurethanes, and it significantly reduces mill base viscosity, allowing for higher pigment content in pigment concentrates.
