BYK-025

BYK-025 is a silicone-containing defoamer additive recommended for aqueous high gloss systems. BYK-025 is particularly compatible and therefore easy to incorporate into formulations. It allows optimizing dosage by post-addition while the coating is running. BYK-025 provides excellent foam control and ensures long-term stability of the coating. It is specifically suitable for non-pigmented acrylate/polyurethane and polyurethane coatings used in construction and industrial applications. BYK-025 delivers uniform, high-quality finishes with minimal foam and is very effective at low dosage levels.
