BYK-355

BYK 355 is a polyacrylate-based surface additive that improves leveling in medium-polarity to polar solvent-borne systems. BYK 355 increases gloss and produces a long wave effect. It reduces the surface tension only to a slight extent, and does not impair the recoatability and intercoat adhesion. BYK 355 is thermally stable and can be incorporated during any stage of the production process, including post-addition. When used between 0.1-1.0% in formulations, BYK 355 anti-cratering and leveling properties help provide a smooth finish with long-lasting aesthetics and protection for applications.
