DISPERBYK 2159 is a highly effective additive for dispersing and stabilizing untreated and treated silica-based matting agents. It provides excellent viscosity reduction and improves matting properties. DISPERBYK 2159 strongly reduces the viscosity and minimizes thixotropy whilst generating Newtonian flow behavior when combined with matting agents. This makes it possible to use a significantly greater quantity of matting agents. In addition, it allows for a much more homogeneous incorporation and orientation of the matting agents.
