BAYHYDROL A 2651

BAYHYDROL A 2651 is an aqueous hydroxyfunctional polyacrylic secondary dispersion that provides excellent performance when used in combination with aliphatic polyisocyanates. It is well suited for the formulation of high gloss and matt clear 2K polyurethane coatings, as well as pigmented coatings. BAYHYDROL A 2651 was developed in particular for the formulation of two-component wood coating systems. It is characterized by very good film transparency and high wood warmth. Crosslinking with polyisocyanates yields coatings with very high chemical resistance, ideal for applications requiring durability. BAYHYDROL A 2651 shows good compatibility when combined with other water-reducible binders or when formulated for the industry requiring high performance protective and decorative coatings.
