BYK-349

BYK 349 is a highly effective silicone surfactant additive that can be used in aqueous coating formulations for advanced materials. BYK 349 causes a considerable reduction in the surface tension which improves the wetting of substrates used in advanced materials. The additive BYK 349 does not increase the surface slip and is suitable for formulations without co-solvents, making it well-suited for aqueous coating systems used in producing advanced materials. BYK 349 improves substrate wetting and levelling, benefiting the coating quality and performance of advanced material end products. It marginally stabilizes foam and does not impair recoatability, allowing for efficient coating processes.
