OXPET LA-1531-20

OXPET LA-1531-20 is a first intent oxidized petrolatum recommended for use as a rust preventative. It provides excellent rust protection and is ideally suited for formulations requiring a high level of rust protection. OXPET LA-1531-20 is compatible with most mineral base oils, white oils and synthetic base stocks. The acids present in the Oxidate can be neutralized with bivalent metaloxides, giving end-products of a high molecular weight and wax-like nature with excellent water-resistant and anti-corrosion properties. These properties make OXPET LA-1531-20 well-suited for applications requiring protection from environmental elements.
