BYK-057

BYK 057 is a silicone-free defoamer additive for solvent-borne and solvent-free formulations. BYK 057 prevents the formation of foam during the manufacturing process. As an efficient defoaming agent, BYK 057 improves leveling of the coating and acts as an air-releasing agent. BYK 057 is effective in unsaturated polyester resins, acrylic/vinyl acetate combinations and epoxy resins. It is suitable for industrial and architectural applications where a bubble and foam free finish is required. BYK 057 ensures uniform, smooth coatings are achieved without any surface defects.
