BYK 430

BYK 430 is a liquid rheology control additive used for solvent-borne systems. It builds a three-dimensional structured network based on hydrogen bondings and interaction with pigments and extenders, providing pseudoplastic flow behavior and excellent sag control due to fast viscosity recovery after application. BYK 430 prevents settling of pigments and fillers, is easy to handle due to its liquid supply form, and shows no negative influence on intercoat adhesion or effect in terms of building false body. It can be combined with other BYK rheology modifiers and is designed for rheology control of solvent-borne resin systems used in advanced material coatings. BYK 430 provides key benefits such as sag control and viscosity stability which ensures uniform material deposition and protects against defects during advanced material coating processes.
