BYK-UV 3510

BYK UV 3510 is a silicone-containing surface additive that improves leveling and substrate wetting for radiation-curable formulations. BYK UV 3510 accumulates on the surface due to its high surface activity. It is particularly recommended where half the dosage of a standard silicone is sufficient to achieve optimum leveling and substrate wetting. BYK UV 3510 is suitable for high-speed application processes where the decreased tendency to stabilize foam has a positive effect. Its good compatibility with standard binders enables highly transparent coatings to be produced. BYK UV 3510 is recommended for all non-aqueous, radiation-curable formulations. It provides benefits such as improved substrate wetting, leveling and surface properties at minimal dosages. This makes it suitable for applications requiring fast curing and high performance surface finishes.
