BAYHYDROL A 2058

BAYHYDROL A 2058 is an aqueous hydroxyfunctional polyacrylic dispersion, ideal for flexible two-component polyurethane topcoats and primers on plastics. It can be thinned with water to application viscosity and, when combined with Bayhydur 302, produces high-gloss, solvent-resistant flexible topcoats. Suitable as a one-coat system, it offers good adhesion and body and can serve as a clear coat over water-borne base coats like Bayhydrol UH 2952/1. BAYHYDROL A 2058 provides good pigment wetting and high shear stability, with sand and bead mills suitable for dispersion. Adjustments to dispersion viscosity are made with deionized water, and it remains stable at dispersion temperatures up to 40°C.
