BYK-070

BYK 070 is a defoamer and air release agent based on silicones and polymers. It contains a solution of foam-destroying polymers and polysiloxanes. BYK 070 prevents foam and bubble formation during manufacturing and application of products. It has a density of 0.89 g/ml and non-volatile matter content of 9%. BYK 070 is especially suitable for systems based on acrylic resins. It can be used at a recommended level of 0.3-1% based on the total formulation. When incorporated into resins before adding other components, BYK 070 helps provide a smooth, even finish without imperfections for long-lasting performance.
